8th Graduation Day was held on 18th march 2016. Mr. M. Ponnuswami, Chairman, CII Chennai Zone, Chairman, Pon Pure Chemicals India Pvt ltd was the Chief Guest and awarded the degrees to the graduates.
11th College Day was celebrated on 6th February 2016. Sri. C. Haridas, General Manager, Indian Overseas Bank was the Chief Guest and Dr. A. Amudavalli, Prof.& Head, Dept. of Library and Information Science, Member – Syndicate, Director – ICOM, University of Madras was the presiding guest for the function.
11th Annual Sports was celebrated on 23rdJanuary 2016. Smt. R.Jayakumari, District Sports Officer, Kancheepuram Dist. was the Chief Guest for the Opening Ceremony and declared the sports meet open. Dr.A.M.Moorthy, Vice-Chancellor, Tamilnadu Physical Education & Sports University, Chennai was the Chief Guest for the Closing Ceremony.
Pongal was celebrated on 9th January 2016. Dr.Thandavan, Controller of Examination, University of Madras was the Chief Guest. Various cultural events like Kavitha, speech, Villupattu and Skit were performed by students.
Placement event was organised for pass out students. TVS Staffing Solutions visited and recruited 25 students for HDFC, Adhitya Birla and ICICI Bank. 8th January 2016, 30 students placed in TCS.
In Campus Interview seven students of our college got selected in Sutherland and four of them got selected in AVIVA.
