Laboratory
Psychology Lab
In our College, student teachers are to be acquainted with the methods of applying psychological principles in their pedagogy. Along with the conceptual framework to develop the concepts of learning, Memory, Retention, Span of Attention, etc., the students teachers are instructed to carry out the experiments on these concepts. Our College holds a well structured psychology lab with innumerable apparatus and tools to carry out experiments effectively. Regular sessions are elevated to encourage the students make use of the psychology laboratory productively.
Chemistry Lab
The enjoyable and meaningful educational endeavors carried out by our prospective biology student teachers in the Biology Lab are: Preparation and examination of microscopic slides , Preservation of Specimens,Demonstration of experiments, Exploration of physiological process, Development of teaching models, Dissertation work ,Maintenance and Establishment of bottle gardens, etc., Apart from these, the discussion on various issues in Bio-Science are held to help the student teachers gain cognizance of the recent trends and developments in the teaching of Biology.
Computer Lab
We have a well equipped and furnished Computer lab in our College. It is the hub of all activities of Vidhya Sagar College of Education for women. There is free Internet connectivity all through the college working hours and it is a boon to all the students. Also, our lab is providing an innovative teaching methodology like CAI, e-Content development, SLO, etc., so as to realize the present need of the society and interest of the students.
Maths Lab
In our College, we have a mathematics lab where the student teacher get training in converting mathematical principles to mathematical experiments and it helps to find different ways to impact effective mathematics education. We have the mathematics laboratory which holds a collection of tools for communicating and getting to understand concepts, relations, algorithms etc. The purpose of Math Lab is to aid students in developing their mathematical abilities. Our college is providing a periodic session for all the students to activate and utilize the mathematics lab systematically.
Language Lab
The reachability of any content basically depends upon the language used by the communicators. In our College, we have established well equipped language lab so that the teachers and students can access a variety of audio and video lessons. Separate hours for practice are provided to our students and interested students are encouraged to make a greater use of the language Lab. Global School mainly focuses on imparting quality education to the students. For achieving these lofty ideas, our school strives hard to draw out an all round development of their wards. For this purpose a Robotics Lab is opened for the Primary and Middle school children, where they learn to build the Robots and learn to program in various ways.
Library
The Library at Vidhya Sagar Women’s College serves as a vibrant center of knowledge, learning, and academic excellence. Designed to support the intellectual growth of our students and faculty, the library houses a rich collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, magazines, and digital resources across various disciplines. With a शांत, well-organized, and student-friendly environment, it encourages focused study, research, and independent learning. Our library is continuously updated to meet evolving academic needs, empowering young women with information, critical thinking skills, and a lifelong love for reading.

Library
Our library offers membership to staff and students and is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Sundays and holidays. Started in 2005, with 3000 books, the library has a collection of over 7000 books and other resources. Our Vision is to build a modern 21st century library Our Mission is to fulfil information needs for Learning and teaching processes in the college. We offer Information sources and services. Value of any institution can be determined by a well equipped library. The learning process is not complete by learning the course material itself. A student, should possess a wide passion for gathering knowledge by reading different books in different fields. In our institution, we are providing a special attention to make the pupils to learn different books in different fields so as to make their leisure time productively.

Code of Conduct : Students using the College Library are required to observe the following rules:
- Library Membership Card essential for entry.
- Strict Silence must be observed.
- Eatables and water bottles not allowed.
- Cleanliness and neatness must be maintained.
- No scribbling on tables/ chairs. Fine will be levied on the spot for prohibiters.
- No items should be brought into the Library.
- Students have to deposit their bags, personal books, notebooks at the property counter
Scholarship
Adi Dravida Welfare Scholarship
Adi Dravida Welfare Scholarships of the Tamilnadu State Government are granted as per government norms.
Scholarship and Proficiency prize
The college offers a number of merit scholarships to the deserving students. The students are also encouraged to apply for scholarships offered by the Govt. The most proficient students of each class is awarded a gold medal or prize at the end of every academic year.
Transport
A full-fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facility to students and staff from various places. This service is offered ensuring a hassle-free and safe transportation. The College runs 23 buses for providing transport facility to students from various places in the city. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.

Canteen
College Canteen
The college maintains a well-equipped canteen within the campus that exclusively serves vegetarian food, ensuring safe, hygienic, and nutritious meals for students and staff. The canteen offers a wide range of delicious South Indian and North Indian vegetarian dishes and snacks at subsidized and affordable rates. Special attention is given to the quality of food ingredients, freshness of preparation, and adherence to hygienic cooking practices. Food is prepared using RO-treated water in a clean and well-maintained kitchen equipped with modern cooking facilities
Solar Plant
Solar Panel System was installed during the year 2013 as the college was subject to frequent power cuts, thereby posing a constraint to the functioning of labs and conducive environment for students. It generates 5 KW. Such an initiative on the part of the management has enabled uninterrupted power supply to the advantage of the students.
Reverse Osmosis Water
The institution has its own in-campus mineral water (RO) plant, ensuring a continuous supply of safe and purified drinking water. The entire campus is serviced by this facility, providing clean and healthy water to both students and staff. The purified water is made readily available across all classrooms, laboratories, and the canteen, supporting hygiene and well-being throughout the institution.
